I have recently read the Harry Potter books and actually just finished them yesterday. As I type this up, I'm watching 'The Order of the Phoenix'. So, due to this recent event- I haven't made a bracelet in around a month or two. I have literally come to a hault at my work. Ha-ha! So, I also figure it is a fairly good time to post a few new patterns I've come across. Here they are, on the first one, I'm making the Gryffindor pattern, the one with the lion on it.

I am so excited for the weekend- 3 day weekends are the bomb. Just got my phone 'revived' a.k.a. I just charged it- and I'm ready to text up a storm! Hahaha- don't you just love texting? Victory is NOT Mine!

As you know from another recent post I ran for STUCO Fundraiser/Treasurer. And today I got the news that, I lost. Apparently if you're not that popular at school- you'll never get voted in. As my sister pointed out- all 'politics' is, is a popularity contest. Think about it. It's true, isn't it? I know, right. Everyone says, 'You'll get it next year', but unless I become super awesomely popular- being a freshman will make me lose. I had great ideas- but apparently having the greatest variety of ideas related to the position- doesn't make you any better than the people who should've ran for class representative. Oh well, I'll try running for STUCO in my Sophmore year or more practically, Senior year. I don't wanna be a sore-loser on this so I'll just shake it off. Anyway! To the positive side of this post- on Monday alone- I got 11 bracelet orders!!! Anyone wanna help me make them? lol I'm so swamped!!! I'm trying my best, though! This is the busiest month of the year for me!!! BLAH! hahahahaha! I have a research paper AND all of those orders- something's telling me I'll be 1. Counting these bracelets into my 12 before Christmas and 2. Having to make the promise them into October! So- help is needed everyone! Thanks guys!

Joy Across my City!

There is joy across my hometown in Lenexa, KS right now- a man went missing, Larry Schnackenburg, on July 8th and we all prayed and hoped he would come back safely! He went missing at Shawnee Mission Park and he left his car, wallet, and cell phone so there was nothing really to go on. Today they found him on a walking trail and we don't know his condition except that he's alive and safe. We thank God so much tonight that he brought Larry home!

100 Days.....

So my bracelet making friend Abigail (Abby) from Summer Impact found me on facebook and I've been glad to exchange a few words with her. She as- everyone else does- thinks my bracelets are great, amazing, beautiful- but honestly I've seen WAYYYYY better, and so I gave her a few sites to visit!

Ok so I've been making some bracets and gave one to my cousin without a photograph of it- darn! Well I have an order to fill- hot pink and black fish! Inspired

Recently, I've been inspired to share Christianity to people who haven't heard of him. It started at my church's middle school youth group when we talked about the 'Purpose Thing' or what is our purpose. Right now, my purpose is to share Jesus among my friends. The friend I currently need prayer for is Katie S. She isn't a Christian but I'm praying for her salvation, please pray for her too. So as I was thinking about her I know how she used to love it when I made things. So I want to make her a special 'Salvation Bracelet' with the colors of some Christian emblems. I have no picture of anything this time- but I'll be sure to make and post a few different kinds.

I have conquered the 20 string 'Avatar' bracelet that was so long I decided to make it an anklet!!! Here is the picture!!!

Cupcakes of String!

Yes- I have made a bracelet with cupcakes on it- after a recent trip to 'Smallcakes' a 'cupcakery' in Olathe, KS, I was inspired to make it. So yesterday I sat down and I did! With a brown 'cake' part, pink 'frosting' and a bright red 'cherry' on top- it's adorable! And you can have one just like it for only $2!!!!!

Keychains Now Available!

We now make keychains! Yes that's right! Any alpha pattern I have or you request can be made into a keychain- except names sorry!

My newest creation...

My newest creation is a key chain for my church's Volkswagon Thing. (yet to be put on the keychain) My church has a series called the 'Legacy Thing' (because my church is called Legacy Christian Church) and it kind of went along with the whole Volkswagon Thing thing hahaha!

Isn't it wonderful? hahahaha!

New Orders!

Debating the next step.....

I'm currently debating on which pattern to make next! I'm making a bracelet right now for my friend Ellie and finishing the Avatar monster bracelet! I just got all those new colors and stuff and thought I should make a new bracelet with them- you know, for a first in my new bracelet collection! So.... I'll figure it out and let everyone know...

NEW COLORS OF FLOSS!!!!!

Yesterday I went to the store and got the GREATEST deal on string! Apparently, Joann's Fabrics has this monster pack of floss in the crosstitching area- 150 skeins for only $16.99!!!!! I worked all night getting those skeins on cardboard bobbins and my hands are sore from the string going through the creases of my fingers!!!!!

Impossible..... not anymore!

I was beginning to think that conquering this bracelet was impossible..... but it isn't! I'm just over halfway finished and it is looking perfect! I think I will finish it about Thursday- maybe even today or tomorrow! It is looking so great! Yesterday I had to run to Joann's Fabrics and pick up two more skeins of 3808 and ECRU! By the way- if you want to make an identicle bracelet out of this pattern and the same exact colors, the backround color is 3808 and the lettering is ECRU. I think I''m going to sell all patterns that require more than 10 strings (in the alphabet patterns) for about $3 considering I need to buy supplies for it and then the rest of the money goes to RaphaHouse down in Joplin. Hopefully my friends will be able to afford that! They are all mostly broke! Haha! So am I! :D Well, hopefully they know that the money is going to a very good mission that helps the girls in slavery in Cambodia.
