I have learned the coolest new thing!

This is a pretty cool yet simple pattern I have learned! It is possibly guarenteed to sell!

This is sure to be a hit! A rounded bracelet? Sure to be a favorite among friends!

Impossible..... not anymore!

This was the bracelet last night

This was a little bit ago

And this is just now
I was beginning to think that conquering this bracelet was impossible..... but it isn't! I'm just over halfway finished and it is looking perfect! I think I will finish it about Thursday- maybe even today or tomorrow! It is looking so great! Yesterday I had to run to Joann's Fabrics and pick up two more skeins of 3808 and ECRU! By the way- if you want to make an identicle bracelet out of this pattern and the same exact colors, the backround color is 3808 and the lettering is ECRU. I think I''m going to sell all patterns that require more than 10 strings (in the alphabet patterns) for about $3 considering I need to buy supplies for it and then the rest of the money goes to RaphaHouse down in Joplin. Hopefully my friends will be able to afford that! They are all mostly broke! Haha! So am I! :D Well, hopefully they know that the money is going to a very good mission that helps the girls in slavery in Cambodia.

Going Along with the Impossible...

The bracelet is looking really good- four rows and 20 minutes in and I've started the first letter, 'A'. It is HUGE! It will make your wrist look like a toothpick it's so thick! Well, here is a picture- but I better get back to conquering it again..... later!

Attacking the Un-Attackable.....

This is the largest bracelet project I am attacking is the Avatar plain logo bracelet..... 21 strings of evil..... it must be like Fire Lord Ozai!!! :) hahaha funny, but this is a huge project and since I have done nothing like it before I am declaring it not for sale because I never sell what I call prototypes or a first of anything. Sorry- but if it works I will be thrilled to make another in any colors! This monster takes 5 skeins of DMC embroidery floss to make and a lot of knotting! Remember if attempting such things- the knot is all in your wrist- don't wear out your full arm and your fingers pull with your wrist and elbow moving the knot up and be sure to double knot as well! I'm setting a goal of finishing this bahemoth (is that how that's spelled?) by the Fourth of July- so in 9 days from now the bracelet or possible anklet will be completed! A picture will be posted now for a before picture and the date of completion as after!

Cool Alphabet Style Patterns (They can be all yours for only $2.00!)

I have a lot more where that came from too!!!!! So if you don't like one of these put in a request and I'll get it!

Recent TV Show Interest

Due to a recent tv show interest I've been looking for the logo! So the other day I was looking on a bracelet pattern sharing website and found it! An Avatar: The Last Airbender logo!!!!!

This is a full Avatar logo!
This is a plain Avatar symbol!!!
This is the Earth Symbol!

I'm planning on making the full Avatar logo by summer's end and another watch design as well!!!!!
Comment please!

What Material Do I Prefer?

You may wonder 'Wow! These bracelets are so cool, I wonder what string is used!' Okay so not really but I figured it's pretty cool to show you what I use to make them! I use DMC Embroidery Floss which is 6 strands thick so it's pretty durable as long as you don't take scissors or a knife to it! So yeah don't play with scissors or knives anyway but only cut them off if you have too! :) This is my box of thread that has been put on paper spools!

And this is the inside of my string organizer! The shiny stuff on the right is my gum stash..... I chew and knot- very relaxing I guess!

And this is where I keep all of the string that is still in it's origonal skein state- I keep it in a light blue pencil bag!

And these are the books I use to make a new pattern and make the bracelets you get!

And finally the waterbottle I use to make the bracelets on! I use that because I like it better than using tape or safety pins! To me doing it that way can ruin the clasp on the bracelet!

There you have it! That's what I use to make my bracelets!

Great websites on how to make bracelets!

Here are some great bracelet making websites:

http://inanna81.livejournal.com/ (this one is in Finnish but the pictures are great and you can go through Google and traslate the whole site)
http://www.friendship-bracelets.net/index.php (this one has great diagrams and the users can upload their own bracelets pics. you can also create your own patterns!)
http://www.how-to-make-jewelry.com/friendship-bracelet-patterns.html (this one has a few patterns on it but good diagrams)
http://knotcool.com/ (this one is okay but it doesn't explain things very well. and the diagrams aren't very good either- and honestly the difficulty levels don't make sense because some patterns aren't that hard)
http://hbernb.atspace.com/index.html (i love this site because the instructions are great and the pictures are good too- and the author has a great forum for disscussion now)
http://friendshipbracelets.superforums.org/index.php (great forum by the author of the website above)
